THE FULL STORY

Baubou is the New York-based fine jewelry brand founded by Korean-born designer Issy Eunyoung Choi. With a background in fashion design, jewelry and metalsmithing, Issy approaches each piece as wearable art, bringing together technical precision, fluid forms and an unmistakably playful point of view.

After studying at the Rhode Island School of Design, she spent 15 years developing her craft in New York, working with established jewelry and accessories brands including Ippolita, Nine West Holdings and Stella & Dot.

Today, Baubou’s designs are created in Issy’s New York studio, with additional production processes carried out by local specialists. Her work celebrates individuality through unexpected details, expressive forms and jewelry that rewards a closer look.
