THE FULL STORY

Ruth NY was founded in 2020 by Alison “Ali” Ruth Dickson, a Pennsylvania-born jewelry designer with a background in metalsmithing and nearly a decade of experience designing for established brands. Each piece begins with Ali’s designs before being crafted by Ali herself or skilled craftspeople in New York City’s Diamond District. The collection is made using recycled solid 14k gold and responsibly sourced gemstones, with customizable and made-to-order production that allows for thoughtful manufacturing and reduced waste.
